What I Wore: Out of the Grey

Yippie, here’s a new outfit for my fashion gallery. Fall is here and this is why I am showing you a special outfit with my new beloved boots. See yourself:

Coat & jeans: Vero Moda
Pullover, scarf & socks: h&m
Headband: handmade, available in my DaWanda-shop
Unicorn bag: handmade with TanDan et le Shirt
Shoes: Think!

The leaves are brown, yellow and red and the forest is sparkling in its prettiest colors. I enjoy long fall walks, the last warm rays of sunshine of the year and all the brightness which this season has to offer.

Some weeks ago, just in the right time for this weather, I have been contacted by the shoe brand Think! and been asked for a cooperation. Their current campaign is called ‘Out of the Grey’ and is about including colors and bright happiness into the colder season when days become grey and dark. As you know, I love colors in every season, so this little challenge of styling their shoes with a bright fall outfit was a perfect fit for me and my best friend Anja of aentschie’s Blog took those outfit photos of me during a lovely fall walk. I love taking photos with her, because she knows how to use a camera and always finds the right perspective.

The pair of shoes I have chosen is a pair of blue leather booties which are great in fall and even in winter with a pair of cozy socks. Their sole is made of latex which makes them even more resistant agains snow and mudd and the lining is made of a wool-polyamid-kashmir mix. So comfortable and warm!

When I have been wearing those shoes for the first time on that day, we went on a long forest walk after taking those photos and when we came back, I had totally forgotten about wearing my new boots, that to say how comfortable they are. 🙂

It was funny being contacted by Think!, because this is a shoe brand I have been knowing since my childhood, because for my Mama, sustainability and products free of harmful substances are important.
Think! produces all shoes in Europe and thus makes sure their shoes are free of childwork and that the ways of transport are short. And what’s super impressive is that the shoes are totally handmade, not made by a machine. The shoes undergo about 120 steps of handmade work, so worth being bought!

Matching the colors of my outfit, I have been wearing my handprinted unicorn tote. I made it during a screenprint workshop with TanDan et le Shirt, I love it.

To make my cozy and colorful fall outfit complete, I wore my handmade crochet headband (more colors available in my shop), so comfortable! It was the first time for me wearing warm crochet accessoires this season, I love it.
